David G. Inglefield’s distinguished business career spans over five decades across Trinidad & Tobago, Barbados, Jamaica, Suriname, Guyana, and the United States. Since retiring in 2015, he has continued to provide strategic advisory services as a n international business consultant to major entities in both the public and private sectors, with particular focus on the manufacturing and petrochemical industries.
He served as a C-suite executive and a member of the parent board of Ansa McAl Group from 2003 to 2015, during which time he was President and CEO of ANSA McAl Barbados. Following this, he was appointed to the Board of First Citizens Bank Limited from 2016 to 2024 . He is currently the Chairman of Trinidad Cement Limited (Cemex), a position he has held since October 2019.
